ORIENTEERING AT GUNSTOCK on Saturday, June 10th
Event Location: Gunstock Mountain Resort, 719 Route 11 A (Cherry Valley Road) in Gilford, NH
Map: Gunstock Mountain Resort, Either 1:5000 or 1:7500 scale for the White and Yellow courses, 1:7500 or 1:10000 scale for the Orange and Brown courses, and 1:10000 for the Green and Red courses. The contour interval is 3m.

Orienteers are invited to begin arriving at 11:00 AM. Beginners and newcomers can get some extra instruction and tips and experienced orienteers can spend some time socializing!
Courses: Whether you are just starting out or an experienced orienteer there will be something for everyone…Course setter Paul Regan will be setting White, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Green and Red courses. Electronic punching will be used.
Cost: UNO members are free. Non-members are charged $10. Members of the Gunstock Nordic Association pay $5 at this event. Small groups of family and friends may orienteer together for one entry fee. Group members may purchase additional maps for $2 each. Family maximum of $30.
The meet headquarters will be at the Gunstock Nordic Association Building about 500 meters along Gunstock’s Panorama Drive from the turn in to the resort from Route 11 A (Cherry Valley Road). PARKING: Please follow orienteering signs to the designated parking area which will have you turn 175 meters BEFORE the meet headquarters building.
Beginners instruction will be available throughout the registration window. Loaner compasses and loaner dibblers (electronic punching devices) will also be available. Bathrooms are on site and dogs are allowed if they are leashed and under control at all times.
